Events There is a strong desire for this property to be involved in the many events that are hosted thru-out the year within the Borough of Ebensburg. Taking advantage of its location, the Jail helps centralize pedestrain flow and has added attractions to draw additional individuals to Ebensburg during such events. Providing prison and haunted tours are just one of these attractions. The Jail also hosts its own events throughout the year, such as during Halloween and the Christmas season.

Step inside the historic Cambria County Old Stone Jail for a real after-hours paranormal investigation experience with Vegas Afterlife.

Hidden within the walls of this 154 years old prison are stories of violence, isolation, executions, and restless energy that still lingers long after dark. Guests will explore the jail by flashlight while investigating reported paranormal activity throughout the property using real investigation equipment provided by Vegas Afterlife.
This is not a haunted attraction or theatrical ghost tour. This is an immersive paranormal investigation experience designed for those who want to investigate the unknown inside one of Pennsylvania’s most historic and unsettling locations.

Campfire Cookouts

Hang out at the Old Stone Jail around an open campfire!
Spend a fun filled evening at the jail. Cook hot dogs and smores over an open fire. Music and entertainment is being planned. Walk about the building on a self-guided tour. Guides will be available for questions and stories. Additional guided tours of the dungeon will be available. Be dressed for cold conditions.

This is a family oriented event. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed! Anyone appearing intoxicated will be escorted off the property.

Haunted Sleepovers

Experience activities and sightings that have been recently documented at the Old Stone Jail!
Spend a spooky night in a jail cell. Cook hot dogs and smores over an open fire. Listen to ghost stories around the fire pits. Scary and haunting movies will be playing. Walk about the building on a self-guided tour. Guides will be available for questions and stories. Additional guided tours of the dungeon will be available.

This is a family oriented event. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed! Anyone appearing intoxicated will be escorted off the property. Not recommended for children under 10 years of age.
